With the forecast of rain for Thursday, Brashear and LaPlata decided to move their game up to Wednesday. LaPlata got on the scoreboard with a run in the top of the 1st, but Quin Allen evened the score in the bottom of the frame with a solo home run. LaPlata continued to put runs on the board in every inning except the 6th as they pulled away for a 15-2 win. Brashear's other run came in the 5th when Allen drove in a run to make the score 11-2 and avoid the ten-run rule loss. Garrett Housman also had 2 hits for Brashear with Colton Sayre and Aden Zentz collecting hits as well. Allen also had a big defensive night recording 7 put-outs in center field. Levi Blankenship got the start with Colton Sayre and Brandon Jochimsen pitching in relief.
